After getting my horn worked on at Boston sax shop I can with full confidence say that Boston Sax Shop is the absolute gold standard for sax repair. I’ve gotten my horn worked on by other techs and they have missed small details like a cork or other item. But coming to pick up my my sax the tech didn’t just make sure I understood what he did but the way to take care of my horn and what I can do in the future to playing at its best. We went to Boston Sax Shop to find an instrument upgrade for my high school age son who has really gotten into Jazz. The service associate was very thoughtful and engaged. He was supportive, knowledgeable, and shared insightful perspectives on what could be a good fit. We had a great time playing through half a dozen saxes from 1930's through 1977. We ended up with a Selmer vi, which sounds amazing. Terrific experience, and large inventory for comparisons. Boston Sax Shop is great.

Boston Sax Shop is the place to go. Recently had my 55 year old Mark Vl Tenor repadded and a few adjustments made, including the neck. Frank was great to work with and incredibly knowledgeable. Everything was done as promised and on time. My horn is singing from top to bottom with the BSS E series 7* mouthpiece and my usual Vandoren
2.5 ZZ reeds. Also sounds great with BSS Silver 2.5 & Regal Queen 2.5 . Thanks so much.
