I had a wonderful meeting with the guys at "The Boston Sax Shop". I had brought in my great-great-grandfather's alto saxophone from 1883. His name was E.A. Lefebre. The guys looked her over for me if she needed repair and recommended 2 gentlemen to doing an appraisal for this saxophone because of the provenance. They were very polite, friendly and professional. They made me feel right at home. I will use them and recommend them to all those who have questions and of need of they services. Wonderful people. Thank you.

I accidentally tweaked a key on my baritone, causing a minor leak that, nevertheless had a detrimental effect on my lower register. Frank spotted the problem and quickly fixed it, and in fact, left the horn playing better than it had been before. Hats off, as always, to Frank!

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE—

I bought a Selmer Mark VI tenor sax from Tyler. Also a new case, BSS mouthpiece and ligature. I got to try out 6 saxes. Travis was very professional in an understated way. I was in the shop for 1.25 hours. I told Tyler that Jack should open up BSS-LA and that I would find him the location.
