was told he might be able to get it to play, but it would never be the same. Fortunately I renembered Frank Kozyra, who had done a great job on my horns in CT, and was now at BSS. I drove the 2 hours there and to get his take on things, and he saw the project as a challenge. He felt he could repair its massive damage without leaving it looking like a train wreck. With a full overhaul, he believed he could leave it playing better than ever. I signed on and I've had it back for about a week, and I just wanted to let you know he pulled it off and I'm loving my restored horn! The mechanics play like butter, the sound is beautiful, and the intonation is right on! You'd never guess the mess it was in when I brought it to Frank. The virtuoso craftsmanship with which he repaired the massive damage left the horn looking practically new. I'm so glad I was able to track Frank down to do the work.
